What’s a lactose free yogurt?
Lactose intolerance* is the inability to digest lactose, which is the predominant sugar naturally found in milk. Composed of two sugars, galactose and glucose, they must be separated to be digested. This is accomplished with the addition of an enzyme called lactase. Lactose intolerants do not produce enough lactase to be able to convert the lactose in milk.
Partly skimmed milk, vanilla flavoure syrup, (sugar, water, natural flavour, pectin, locust bean gum; lemon juice concentrate), milk protein, lactase bacterial cultures.
Our whole Classique range is made of 0% to 2,9% milk fat and includes probiotics but no preservatives, artifical sweetner nor gelatine.
