- Directions

Rinse with cold water. Toast the grains in a bit of olive oil for 1 to 2 minutes. For 1 cup of quinoa, add 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes (or until all water is absorbed).
