CONFERENCE : What consitutes the gut microbiota?
Science teaches us that the microorganisms in our intestines are not inert stowaways. These bacteria, yeast and viruses, collectively called the microbiota, work hard for us and with us, but also sometimes against us. Indeed, the microbiota is described as a virtual organ that acts on immunity, metabolism, inflammation levels and the risk of heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases and bowel diseases, including cancer and inflammatory diseases.
It is therefore very important to keep a healthy microbiota.
Jean-Yves Dionne, renowned scientific figure and pharmacist shares with you his knowledge on gut microbiota and how you can support and upgrade its health.
