Last winter, Avril co-founder and co-owner Rolland Tanguay flew to Italy in search of the best gelato recipes. To do this, he attended the SIGEP (International Trade Show of Artisan Gelato, Pastry, Bakery and the Coffee World) in the city of Rimini. During his visit, he tasted over a thousand products, discovered the latest trends in the industry, was inspired by the expertise of the greatest gelato craftsmen and established partnerships with the best Italian suppliers. His goal? To bring to Avril’s customers of a gelato counter worthy of a real Italian “gelateria”.
Made from natural ingredients, Gourmet Naturally gelatos satisfy the finest palates with their smooth texture and unique taste. “What sets gelato apart from traditional ice cream is that it contains much less fat and is tastier.
