Bonbon Collections’ vegan and allergen-free desserts
100% natural, vegan and allergen-free, all the reasons are good to indulge in these pastries and sweet treats from Bonbon Collections!
Quebec-based and family-owned business Bonbon Collections was founded in 2016 by Thao Nguyen, former Brand Director at Ricardo Cuisine and mother of little girls with food allergies. Her desire? To share her passion for desserts and help parents of children with dietary restrictions. From pastries to tartlets, to cupcakes, cake pops and ice cream … Bonbon Collections‘ products stand out by their high-quality standards: they are 100% natural and vegan, they do not contain any of the top 10 allergens identified by Health Canada: peanuts, eggs, milk, nuts, wheat, soy, sesame, seafood, sulphites and mustard and have no artificial flavours or colors. “If our daughters can’t eat it, we don’t make it. My responsibility as a pastry chef is the same responsibility I have as a parent”, says Thao Nguyen.
And eco-friendly too!
In addition to using organic ingredients from fair-trade and renewable sources, Bonbon Collections takes action to reduce their ecological footprint: they buy ripe fruits from local markets to minimize food waste, they grow their own edible flowers and fine herbs (mint, basil, etc.), they reuse their empty paper bags as garbage bags and they use packaging made of recycled, recyclable and compostable materials.
The Bonbon Collections products available at Avril are: brownies, date squares, cake pops, cupcakes, mini-cupcakes, cakes for 6 people and tartlets.
