Cuisine Soleil grilled lentils
Cuisine Soleil ready-to-eat organic lentils are made in Val-d’Or from French-style green lentils harvested in Saskatchewan. In addition to being organic, vegan and free of gluten and GMOs, these products have very interesting nutritional values: one 50g serving (one bag is 55g) contains 16g of vegetable protein, 6g of fibre and provides 40% of the recommended daily iron intake. In summary, these crispy lentils not only serve as satiating and healthy snacks, they can also be sprinkled atop salads and soups to enhance their taste, texture and nutritional value. Cuisine Soleil products won several honours, including the Food Innovation Award from the Conseil de la transformation alimentaire du Québec (New or improved products category – Chocolates, snacks, desserts and sweets) in 20171 and won the Most Innovating Food Product Award at the Gama Innovation Conference & Awards in 20182.
