The role of proteins
Proteins play a fundamental role in the proper functioning of the body since they are the main building blocks of cell structures. Once ingested, they break down into small molecules called amino acids. There are twenty different amino acids, nine of which are said to be “essential”, as these are not naturally produced by the body and must be supplied through food. Fun fact: naturellementbio fermented brown rice protein contains all nine essential amino acids.
Why and how to consume them?
Proteins are also known to be essential nutrients for the development and maintenance of muscle mass. Physically active people or those who simply want to increase their protein intake may have interest in supplementing protein. Naturellementbio fermented brown rice protein can be consumed in several ways. You can mix it with water or milk (dairy or plant-based), you can incorporate to smoothies, pancake mix, snacks such as energy bites, cookies, muffins, yogurts, and in soups and sauces if you choose the plain version.
