Theobroma Chocolat was founded in 2008 by Jean-René Lemire and his wife Josée Vigneault, both passionate about chocolate and eager to offer organic, fair-trade and superior quality products. The company’s values are based on pleasure, health and respect for the environment. No wonder its transformation plant, located in Quebec City, was the first to be certified organic in North America!
In addition to being organic, fair trade and vegan, Theobroma Chocolat chocolates are allergen, gluten and GMO-free. They also have a very short list of ingredients: cocoa butter, cocoa paste and cane sugar. A simple recipe to which are added ingredients such as real fruit (cherries, raspberries, lime, lemon zest), coffee beans, salt, etc. to make products of great purity, with unique flavors and textures.
